Broome County Transportation Advocacy Group (TAG) was developed in response to a specific issue: cuts by Broome County government to B. C. Transit. TAG members have been vocal and persistent at public hearings and county legislative meetings. They organize consumers and the public around the serious problems that arise from the County’s cuts to BC Transit. They circulate petitions and surveys, attend and speak at county legislature meetings and collaborate with other community organizations. TAG advocates for restoration of lost transit services as well as affordable public transportation.
Rural Health Network of South Central NY/Mobility Management Program assists people in the Southern Tier with health and other transportation needs through the Get There Call Center, 1-855-373-4040.
